 Some people are so beat down 

(Like "Eeyore ")

They carry with them this constant negativity

That makes a person unable to thrive in their presence

Why can some people 

HOPE

And others only see the past and bad things

I know... 

Sometimes family is what drags us down, 

Hurts us, teases us, isn't perfect

BUT...
