When I was a little girl
my momma worked in a small community Catholic hospital
She would tell stories about
"the gypsies"
when one would come in to have a baby
they all camped out in the lobby
"I envisioned BBQ, stories, large family bonding"
When the baby was born
there would be many to greet him/her
there would be many to greet him/her
I always thought that sounded great
as an only child I could only imagine the wonder of a large family
What I did not realize was with big families
you get big dramas
"oy vey"
"OK, you can take back the gypsies now"
(and send in the clowns)
"little pot stop"

Oooo,you are sho 'nuf telling the truth! I'm an only child as well with a small extended family. DH on the other hand has a large family and yep the drama matches. lol
